Bratchikov Aleksandr Evgenevich

Alexander Bratchikov, a 52-year-old local resident, was detained in Tatarstan in May 2024. His phone was confiscated and, according to Bratchikov himself, they found something in Telegram, despite the fact that it had been deleted. The security forces restored the application and demanded that the man admit that he had written certain texts. Bratchikov denied the charges, warned that 'he is a heart patient and will die from torture', passed a polygraph test, after which he was released. A year later, on March 25, 2025, OMON stormed to Bratchikov's house. He was accused of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to his testimony, he was tortured with electric shocks and threatened to be charged with his son's case, which is why he eventually pleaded guilty. The man was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
