Case Description
Alexander Bratkhanin, a 46-year-old local resident, was detained in Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast, in early June 2025. he was accused of calling for terrorism. The reason for the criminal prosecution was comments on VKontakte about Vladimir Putin and United Russia. According to the investigation, from October 1, 2022 to December 29, 2024, in the publics "Vologda Region VKontakte", Cherepovets Life" and "Cherepovets Best", Bratakhin wrote from an account under the name Maxim Pechnik: "I and a healthy guy will go to war. Putin to be shot along with United Russia!». You shouldn't whine here! And the whole country should rise up and drive out this vile power!
