Case Description
In Bashkortostan, a criminal case was initiated against 32-year-old Albert Gabidullin, a resident of Davlekanovo." 1. He is charged with threatening to kill or cause serious bodily harm. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a letter posted by him on social media and addressed to Ainur Birgalin, chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Bashkortostan. Albert Gabidullin is already in a pre-trial detention center in connection with another criminal case — about public calls for terrorist activity. Under an open letter from the head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, which was published by most regional media and in which the regional leader pondered the question "What are the Bashkirs fighting for?", Albert Gabdullin called him a mankur. Another message hints that the author is engaged in selling chickens. In addition, 'Tlazzzuat Zhuzktzhzha' was critical of the country's electoral system and urban housing and utilities.
