Case Description
On January 23, 2024, in Elista, the Republic of Kalmykia, a criminal case was opened against 25-year-old resident of Adyana Boldyrev under the article on calls for violent actions against a group of persons on national grounds. According to the investigation, Boldyrev holds anti-Russian views and published statements in his Telegram channel "containing signs of calls for violent actions against a group of persons based on nationality, including in connection with their participation in the SMO. The exact date of detention and the assigned measure of restraint are unknown. On April 25, 2024, the Elista City Court of the Republic of Kalmykia found Adyan Boldyrev guilty and sentenced him to 9 months of forced labor as punishment. The verdict was not appealed and came into force.
